Dear AdVENTURE Geologist:

I'm glad you finally made it here! We have been looking for a travel planner that can help gather interest in discovering the beauty of our planet. For this project, I am asking that you create an interactive Google Map that highlights some tectonic destinations.

In order to increase interest, you map must place destinations along each of the three different types of boundaries (divergent, convergent and transform) as well as a hot-spot. The itinerary you create must visit at least three different plates. Each of the four destinations you choose must include an image of the place you are visiting AND explain in detail how plate tectonics created it. It must also share specific areas of tectonic interest to visit while at that particular place.

 

In order to present your map, you must also creat a 3 minute voiced-over IGNITE* presentation (12 slides) that showcases interesting information about each of the places you chose. This presentation must be ready in order for you to adress the audience at the Techtonically Speaking Convention.
