The character cartoonists we are looking for are flexible and can adapt to changing storylines. For this part of your character portfolio you must create a villain for your superhero. This villain will have two modes. He/she will have a normal mode and a villainous superhuman mode. In order to design your villain, you must choose four organ systems/organs from the following list that that will be transformed when your villain enters its nefarious mode:

  • Skin

  • Digestive (stomach, intestines)

  • Excretory (kidneys)

  • Skeletal (bones)

  • Muscular (muscles)

  • Cardiovascular (heart, blood)

  • Nervous (brain, spinal cord)

  • Respiratory (lungs)

  • Eye

  • Ear

The villain part of your portfolio must include:

  1. Introduction: Drawing of your villain, his/her name and superpowers.

  2. Complete, illustrated description of the each of the organ systems/organs selected IN THEIR NORMAL STATE. Where is it located? What does it do? Why is it important?*

  3. Complete, illustrated description of each of the organ systems/organs selected IN THEIR NEFARIOUS MODE. How did it change from its normal state to a villainous superhuman state?  What are its enhanced qualities?  How does this make your villain more powerful?*

  4. Write a two to three paragraph character relationship concept in which you briefly explain the rivalry between your previously created superhero and this villain.

* Did you figure out that this means 8 distinct items? Four in normal mode and four in nefarious mode
