An origins story is where you explain how your character came to be.  This origin story needs to be grounded in scientific facts. Since you created a human with some special animal characteristics, you will need to explore the ways that this could happen. Use your knowledge of genetics.

 

Did your character suffer a mutation due to exposure or accident? How exactly did the mutation happen? What type of mutation is it? (Your choices for types of mutation are Insertion, Deletion or Substitution)

 

If he/she was genetically modified, be precise in explaining how GMOs are "constructed"?  (Your choices are Genome Editing or Transgenesis)
