What do I need to turn in to the hiring committee you ask?

A written project report that includes:

• Proposal: includes sketch (NOT picture), purpose of the item, how it works and why you chose the item 

• Manual: including parts, BoM, exploded view and assembly instructions.

• Novel uses of your device: Everything has a purpose, which you already explained, but think creatively, what else could your device be used for? Come up with a secondary use.

Oral presentation:

• Brief but thorough description of your item and how it works. 

• Illustrates how the different parts of your device work together to create a system, allowing it to work for its intended purpose.

• Novel uses.
