Create an educational product (poster, flipchart, trifold) to highlight the weather history of an area.

 

Choose a location that has had at least 3 extreme weather events (for example: the Midwest U. S. and tornadoes; the gulf coast and hurricanes; the west coast and wildfires, the east coast and blizzards, etc.).

 

In your product include:

 

• A catchy title

• An introduction paragraph detailing the type of severe weather experienced. Make sure you mention how the interaction between the Earth's spheres contributes to form the severe weather pattern.

• A map that shows where each of the weather events happened

• An image for each of the three events

• A graphic description of each of the three events (include at least 6 facts for each)

• A one paragraph (at least) safety and preparation recommendation aimed specifically at the people of the area. 

• Resources used.
