AdVENTURE is calling all 7th and 8th grade students to participate in a STEAM poster competition that demonstrates their knowledge of the Scientific Method and the Engineering Design Process. In order to receive the maximum amount of points you will need to find one grade-level partner to work with. Your poster must:

Include the scientific method and the engineering design process in one cohesive diagram.

Be no smaller than 24" x 36" or larger than 27" x 39" (standard poster sizes).

Have brief and to the point word descriptions. Font or lettering size should allow your poster to be read from four feet away.

Separately include two articles (printed), annotated to indicate the "steps" of the process as they correspond to your poster (one for engineering and one for scientific method - some article sources can be found on the sheets and links page).

The names of the students must be written/printed on the back of the poster.
All entries will receive XP and a gradebook grade, but only a few will be used by ALL of AdVENTURE during the 2014/2015 school year.
Entries must be submitted, complete, by the due date. Any entry that is late, incomplete or does not comply with the requirements will not be judged.
Who are the judges you ask? Well the 5th and 6th grade classes of course.
