Possible Assignments

Decide on a team of no more than three researchers. You will receive your assignment on a first come-first served basis, with the aim of not having repeats. The quicker you decide the higher the chance of obtaining your desired phyla.

  • Sponges and Cnidarians

  • Worms and Mollusks

  • Arthropods

vertebrates

You and your team will research a phyla. Through a combination of pictures, text and models, your team must create a  3-D exhibit  that identifies and describes the main characteristics and diversity of the organisms in your phyla.

The key information you are looking for answers the following questions:

- What are the general characteristics of the organisms in your phyla?

- What are the major groups of organisms included in your phyla?

- How do these major groups differ from one another?

- Why should we care about the organisms in your phyla?

For the models that accompanies your 3D product, you will have to highlight a minute sample of the organisms in your phyla (even one is enough). However, the information that accompanies it must relate to all organisms in your phyla.
