Develop a Hypothesis
So, you asked a question and did some research. Now you have an idea of what the answer is.
A hypothesis is a possible answer to a scientific question.
Often, hypothesis are phrased as, "If _______, then________."
Example:
Remember, John is trying to figure out:
"Will the amount of sugar in the recipe affect the size of the loaf?"
Choose the correct hypothesis to answer this question:

If more sugar is added, then the bread will rise higher.
or

Adding more sugar will make better bread.
