Scriptorium.

The importance of writing your weekly blogs cannot be understated. Read my post on "Why the blogs are not going away". Completing your blogs in a timely manner increases your rank and, allows you to gain specific advantages. .

You may choose to type directly into blogger, or you may create a video or audio blog. Your blogs are graded according to a rubric. Read it, understand it make sure you make corrections. The blog points are cumulative throughout the whole year.

All that being said, there are three types of blogs, each with its own set of rules:

  • The weekly blog: This is the type you will write most often. The weekly blog tells the story of your understanding of what went on in class in a given week and explains the S&EPs you used to be successful. These blogs are due every Friday.

  • The project blog: Written at the end of a project. This blog asks you to reflect on the work you did and allows you to see how much you've grown.

  • The article blog: This type of blog can only be written once you have reached the rank of Duke and is offered as a respite from the normal weekly blog. However, you may not have more than two article blogs per grading period, and may never take the place of a project blog.
